Perfect Day For Kayaking In Lake Tahoe

You couldn't have asked for a nicer day at Lake Tahoe. I put in near Meek's Bay near South Tahoe. As you can see by the rocks the water was very clear as I launched on the rocky shore.

The drive along Highway 89 leading to South Tahoe passes the Truckee River on the right. I took this shot of some people in rafts floating down on a perfect sunny day.



Driving from Lake Tahoe to Sacramento I passed through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. There were some very nice stops along Interstate 80 so I took several random exits and got to get some great shots.
