Starting Out Tomorrow Morning Bright and Early

Well, the big day is almost here. After looking at all the stuff I've packed I've decided the Toyota Prius won't work. I'll have a Ford Escape rental SUV for the trip so I can take my kayak, bicycle, photo equipment and all my camping gear. It's a lot of stuff but I will love having it all with me I'm sure. I just couldn't live without my new Lafuma Extreme 700 XL sleeping bag weighing in at 1.8 pounds - a perfect backpacking and kayaking sleeping bag. I'll try to post some photos from my iPhone along the way, then post better shots from my Leica M8 when I get wireless access. I'll have my broadband card and will hope to get good reception once I get to Utah.
